My name is Marco Forgione and I am a researcher in the field of Systems Identification and Control.
I was born in Varese, Italy in 1986 and
I got my B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering in 2007 from the University of Pavia, Italy.
In 2009 I got my M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering with focus on Automation from the same university.
Afterwards, I joined the Delft Center for Systems and Control (DCSC) department of the
Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands as Ph.D. candidate. I got my Ph.D degree in July 2014.
From September 2014 to August 2015, I was postdoctoral researcher in the
Laboratoire Ampère at the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France.
I am currently R&D research engineering consultant with Akronos Technologies.
I work in the R&D department of Whirlpool EMEA in Biandronno, Italy.
My main task is to develop assisted cooking algorithms for induction cooktops and ovens.
